Accident At Restaurant Keeps Police Questioning

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police are investigating an accident that occurred in the Golden Corral parking lot on James Avenue leaving two people injured.

According to the police report, 23-year-old Fedrik G. Tosiwo, of Shoals, was traveling at an excessive rate of speed in the parking lot when he came upon Terry and Debbie Marsh, of Bedford, riding on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Tosiwo slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the couple, however, the two fell off the motorcycle suffering numerous cuts and bruises.

Police say Tosiwo fled the scene, but later returned to check on the injured couple. Police have taken statements from all three involved in the accident and are trying to piece together what actually happened.
