(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Council met last night in the County Courthouse.
Several budget approvals were passed including the County Health Department.
The Auditor's Department is looking for a part-timer and the board approved a budget proposal for the new employee. Also, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department asked for approval to hire a new Case Manager Probation Officer. The board approved the move on the grounds that they would not be able to add additional salary to the position once the funds run out.
The next meeting will be held April 25, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
