LOOGOOTEE—Two Bedford residents were taken to the Martin County Jail after police found drugs in their vehicle.
State Police stopped 22-year-old Mark A. Kessner and 24-year-old Jason A. Carlisle on a traffic violation in Loogootee and discovered they had a controlled substance in their possession.
Martin's County's K-9 Amigo was called to search for the illegal drugs. Kessner and Carlisle were taken and incarcerated in the Martin County Jail. Kessner was additional arrested on a warrant from Lawrence County for failure to appear in court.
