(EAST OOLITIC) - About 30 people attended the East Oolitic Community Association’s Meet Your Candidate For Sheriff Of Lawrence County Forum Tuesday night.
Mike Terry, Sam Shaw, Ray Sexton, Dennis Kirkman, Lonnie Johnson, Jerome Hettle, Paul Endris, Sam Craig and Mike Brannaman were there and answered questions presented by Lawrence County Process Officer Millard Jones who moderated the question and answer session.
The audience was given a chance to question the candidates. The favorite was why the candiddates want the job. Most stated it was their goal to become Sheriff, others stated they wanted to serve the public.
The Primary will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006.
