Man Chases Ex-, Gets Time

BEDFORD—Lawrence County Police report a man chasing an ex-girlfriend was taken to jail following an auto accident.
Twenty-five-year-old Steven S. Stroud, of Bedford, was running down his ex-beau on State Road 158 near Old Farm Road and lost control of the vehicle.
He hit a parked pickup and then a utiltiy pole. He parked the damaged auto in a driveway.
Police were able to track Stroud down and arrested him with vehicle theft, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving suspended infraction.
