Local Drivers Injured On Highway

JUDAH—A three-car pile-up injured three people that occurred on State Road 37 and Old State Road 37 at Judah.
Lawrence County Police report that 34-year-old Jennifer R. Miller, of Springville, was traveling south on State Road 37 when she apparently hit the back end of the vehicle driven by 49-year-old Daniel W. Allred, of Bedford.
His vehicle then hit a third vehicle, driven by 66-year-old James S. Terrell, also of Bedford. Miller told police she was not sure what happened, but woke up coughing from the deployment of her airbag. She reportedly had been ill for a couple of days.
She complained of head pain. Allred suffered contusions and bruising to his chest. Terrell refused treatment. Total estimate of the damage to the vehicles was betwen $10,000 and $25,000.
