Body Of Man Found In Indian Creek
SPRINGVILLE—The man missing in the boating accident that occured on Sunday at Indian Creek near Springville has been found.
28-year-old Kyle Banks' body was found earlier today about a quarter mile from where the boat tipped over. A cousin to Banks' wife, Andy Hunicutt, found Banks body floating in the water. Members of REMC Electric Company where Banks worked helped in the rescue/search efforts.
Twenty-eight-year-old Kyle Banks was boating with two other freinds when the raft began to take on water.
Twenty-five-year-old Ryan Fish and 25-year-old Ricky Holmes were able to get out of the water, but Banks did not resurface after falling into the chilly waters.
Indiana Conservation Officer Mark Farmer says that a larger crew was to report to the area today. They were to continue to eliminate areas where Banks may have gone. Farmer says that divers might have been brought in to look at log jams and search throughly underwater. A helicopter was brought in Monday to search the area.
The Lawrence County Coroner will conduct a autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
