(BEDFORD) - The branch bank of Monroe Bank was robbed this morning.
Bedford Police Chief David Jarrad says a masked man wearing an orange sweatshirt and a black ski mask came into the 16th street bank and demanded money. He left by heading out the back way.
Several witnesses who were in the bank at the time of the robbery and bank employees were interviewed by police following the incident.
The Indiana State Police K-9 was called in to help with the investigation. Police continue to look for the thief who took off with an undetermended amount of money.
