BEDFORD—A traffic accident in Bedford sent three residents to the hospital.
Police report the 2-vehicle accident occurred on John Williams Boulevard and "R" Street.
67-year-old Jakie Cobb, of Springville, was attempting to cross John Williams Boulevard in her auto, when 25-year-old Lorrene Hunicutt, of Bedford, was approaching the "R" Street intersection. Cobb did not see Hunicutt's vehcile and slammed into the side of it.
After the accident, Hunicutt complained of arm pain, with her passenger, 56-year-old Janet Hunicutt, suffering chest pain. 15-year-old Tim Wilkerson, also a passenger in the Hunicutt auto, complained of neck pain.
All three were taken to Dunn Memorial Hospital by Bedford Regional Medical Center Ambulance.
