Three People Injured In Accident

BEDFORD—Three people were injured following an accident on Oolitic Road and Rawlins Road north of Bedford.
Twenty-seven-year-old Denisse M. Rodriguez, of Bedfod, was traveling across the bridge south of Rawlins Road when she struck the middle of the bridge.
Rodriguez told police she hit some ice causing the accident.
One passenger, 34-year-old Shawn R. Turpin, of Bedford, complained of leg pain. Turpin was taken to Bedford Regional Medical Center Emergency Room to treat his wounds.
Another unnamed passenger was arrested for public intoxication. Rodriguez was cited for a learners permit violation and open container violation.
