Last updated on Friday, February 17, 2006

UNDATED—A thunderstorm with strong winds rolled through the area Thursday night.

Heavy rains and lightning accompanied the storm that stretched from Ft. Wayne to Evansville.

A power outage was reported in the southeast area of Bedford affecting about 70 customers. Power was restored within two hours.

In Paoli, power was out for a time and in Crothersville, in Jackson County, a transformer blew causing power to be out for several hours.

The storm brought colder temperatures and a possibility of snow for the weekend.
