BEDFORD—The second in a series of Third House meetings was held Saturday morning at the new Bedford Chamber of Commerce building.
Indiana Senator Brent Steele and Representatives Jerry Denbo and Eric Koch were there to field questions from the relatively large crowd gathered there.
On the minds of many was the issue of Gov. Daniels Major Moves initiative. Steele said he believed the package was good for Indiana bringing in money that would free tax money for other projects. Denbo disagreed with Steele saying he didn't like foreign money coming onto the state. Many in the audience sided with Denbo.
The next Third House session will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2006.
