EFM Celebrates 50 Years Of Broadcasting

BEDFORD—The religious organization Evangelistic Faith Missions, headquartered on Hwy. 50, just east of Bedford, held a celebration Saturday afternoon of over 50 years of radio broadcasting.
The event was held at the Red Brick Mansion at the Otis Park Golf Course.
A crowd of about 100 people heard from several leaders of the organization and Mayor Joe Klumpp. Several gospel groups sang during the presentation. WBIW's owners and operators Dean adn Barb Spencer were presented a plaque thanking then for broadcasting the program for nearly all of the 50 years.
The program can be heard every Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. on 1340WBIW.
