BEDFORD—The largest Third House meeting was held Saturday morning in Bedford with State Senator Brent Steele and State Representatives Eric Koch and Jerry Denbo fielding questions.
The subject that received the most attention was Gov. Daniels' "Major Moves." Daniels has brought together investors from two foreign countries to lease the Indiana Toll Road for 75 years.
Many of the people at Saturday's meeting were questioning whether two weeks was long enough to decide on the 75 year plan. Steele said Daniels was a "mover and a shaker" and Steele didn't see a down side to the proposal.
