A midwife from Bloomington is being charged with practicing without a license.
The accusation follows the delivery of a child she helped with who died from complications of labor.
Fifty-four-year-old Jennifer L. Williams was released from jail after she posted a $10,000 bond.
She faces charges of practicing medicine without a license and a lesser charge of unlicensed practice of midwifery.
