Bedford Woman Arrested On Sexual Charges

BEDFORD—53 year-old Jackie L. Johnson of 604 15th Street is in the Lawrence County Security Center on $50,000 cash or $37,500 surety bond.

She was arrested for allegedly showing a 13-year old female relative how to perform sex on a man.

Johnson is alleged to have instructed the child and introduced her to a 36-year old man, according to a probable cause affidavit. The man asked the child to perform the act on more than one occasion.

If convicted Jackie L. Johnson faces between six and 20 years in prison and a fine of up to ten-thousand dollars. This sick situation that happened in our city is another strong example why Indiana must pass Jessica's law, to protect children from sexual predators and abuse.
