PAOLI—When the sun peeks thru the clouds today, the snow will sparkle like diamonds! How excellent the timing: Paoli Peaks opens this afternoon at 3:30 with half-day rates in effect.
With our fresh snowfall on top of a 40-plus inch base, the conditions for snow-boarding and skiing are excellent.
Residents of the Mitchell area, Sam and Sandy Carnell are able to speak as experienced skiers who for years trekked to the Colorado slopes. Sam, manager/owner of Mitchell's Ben Franklin Ace Hardware evaluates Paoli Peaks as a top-notch facility. Carnell believes the snow-making system there and high-efficiency equipment gives this area a valuable recreation asset.
