BLOOMINGTON—Bloomington Utilities officials are planning to meet with the State Board of Accounts in early 2006 to discuss their response to an audit of their record keeping system.
City Utilities Director Patrick Murphy says the report outlines problems with the Department's Financial software and cites concerns about some business practices of the department's employees.
Murphy says city administrators, Utilities Board members and State officials will offer solutions during a meeting early next year.
During a city council meeting last week, Mayor Mark Kruzan said that he'd asked for the problem to be remedied when he took office in 2004.
