Bedford man arrested for domestic battery

BEDFORD—A man was arrested for domestic battery after a 911 call was received at the Bedford Police Department.
The caller initially hung up, but when police called back they were told a child was playing with the phone.
Police went to the residence to investigate further and charged 31-year-old Shay T. Sherrill with domestic battery.
He was taken to the Lawrence County Jail, processed and incarcerated.
