VFDs battle house fire

MITCHELL—A house fire Wednesday afternoon on Dixie Highway brought out the Marion and Shawswick Volunteer Fire Departments.
Marion Fire Chief Jim Zeeks says the house, belonging to Noah Sosh, was fully involved in the back. He says the structure suffered smoke, heat and water damage.
The house was being rented. No one was injured during the fire.
Zeeks believes the fire was accidental and an investigation is continuing.
