The Thanksgiving holiday period has begun. The AAA Motor Club estimates that 37.29-million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home this holiday. That’s an 8% increase form last year’s 37-million travelers.
Hoosier Motor Club Spokesman Greg Seiter says gas prices have also been dropping and that's good news for motorists.
If you would like help in establishing a travel budget while traveling this week, AAA and Oil Price Information Service have combined to offer a website that will help estimate the cost of gasoline to get to that holiday destination. The site can be found at www.fuelcostcalculator.com.
