Police investigate multiple break-ins

MITCHELL/ORLEANS—The Mitchell Police and the Orleans Police have had their hands full investigating multiple break-ins Sunday night. In Mitchell, at least four businesses were entered. Barlow Sports Shop, Farm Bureau Insurance, Three Hearts Flowers and Gifts were reported Monday morning.

At four o'clock Monday, when Allies Pizza opened, that business in Mitchell also discovered they'd been robbed. Down in the town of Orleans the Progress Examiner, the dental office of Meyer and Hall and the Hardware Store were three of eight businesses reporting break-ins sunday night. We will keep you updated as the investigations continue.

The question pending is: Were these twelve-plus combined robberies committed by the same people?
