Residents Recount Experiences From Gulf Coast Relief Efforts

BEDFORD—It is interesting to hear the experiences of people from Bedford who have returned from the stricken Gulf Coast.

They recount what it was like to view the widespread damage and talk to the people who lost everything they owned. The heat, humidity, the foul odors and long work days continue to make that volunteer work tough.

1340 WBIW will feature Dr. John Hart, who works in Dunn Hospital's Emergency Room, on "Talk of the Town" this Wednesday morning. He'll discuss his early trip to Mississippi.
