County Museum Sneak-Peak Dinner
BEDFORD—Many of the guests last Saturday night at the Museum’s Sneak-Peak dinner had never stepped foot into the Lawrence County Museum of History.
Their eyes were opened to the gem we now have to show off the collection of antiques that have been donated over the years. The display cases sparkled.
The space now designated for the larger book store, the large meeting room, the office and the research library had guests shaking their heads in wonderment and appreciation. It was obvious that many hard-working volunteers and the dollars contributed have this county now in the position of having the state's most up-to-date museum with plenty of room to accommodate gifts in the future.
The official opening will take place after the ribbon-cutting ceremony this Thursday at 11:30AM. Plan to attend that historic moment.
