(BEDFORD) - A Norman woman complained of pain after crashing her vehicle on US 50 East near East Boyd Lane Friday morning.

Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies were alerted to the crash at 6:56 a.m.

Police say 51-year-old Julie Runyon complained of head pain and was taken by an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew to IU Health Bedford Hospital for treatment.

Police say Runyon was traveling west on US 50 East when her 2001 Ford Windstar went off the southside of the highway, and over an embankment.

Runyon told police she had been traveling west on US 50 East when another vehicle stopped suddenly in front of her causing her to swerve the windstar to avoid rear ending the vehicle.
