Officer Sorrells accomplished a marksmanship score of 604 points out of possible 615. He also shot a 75 X count.

"These are outstanding scores and well-deserved honor," says Chief Moore.

Chief Moore also awarded the Merit Officer of the Year to Officer Clint Swanson.

"He demonstrated knowledge of work, quality of work, initiative, dependability, interpersonal skills, attitude, attendance, and appearance," he added. "Officer Swanson demonstrated these qualities daily and did not go unnoticed by his peers."

Congratulations to these two officers.
