(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man is behind bars after police say he set fire to his neighbors front doors.

Bloomington Police arrested 58-year-old Byron Carr on two counts of arson.

On Saturday around 8 p.m., Bloomington Police and Bloomington firefighters were alerted to a fire at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of North Arlington Park Drive.

The caller told officials she smelled the odor of smoke and when she opened her front door saw flames.

Officials found two apartment doors on fire. Firefighters put out the fires quickly with little damage to the complex.

Police say Carr had poured fuel around the front doors and lit them.
Witnesses say Carr, who also lives in the apartment complex, had been harassing tenants.

Police found Carr inside his apartment along with a jug of Tiki torch fuel and a lighter.
