Last updated on Thursday, December 27, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - Unionville Elementary has been recognized as the 2018 Outdoor Lab of the Year by the Indiana Tree Farm Committee. This is the 43rd year of this prestigious award and the second Monroe County Community School Corporation. Bloomington High School North won the award in 1980.

The award confirms Unionville's commitment to their curriculum initiative called E.A.R.T.H. (Environment, Art, Resources, Technology, and Health) modeled to incorporate the environment, natural resources, and health into their curriculum.
