Special Olympics Polar Plunge In Bloomington

(BLOOMINGTON) - Join Indiana Special Olympics on February 16, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall for the Polar Plunge. Registration will be in the North Lobby of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

The plunge will begin at Noon on the North Lawn of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The event is open to anyone.

All proceeds from this event benefit Special Olympics athletes in your community, giving them means to train locally and to compete at the local, area, and state level in a number of Olympic-type sports.

To participate, each individual must raise a minimum of $75 in pledges to receive the souvenir t-shirt.

There will be an After Splash Bash in the North Lobby of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall immediately following the plunge.
