(MITCHELL) - John Beyers’ victim suffered a 12 to 15-inch laceration across his upper left chest and a puncture wound to his bicep area.

Beyers, 34, is facing felony charges of aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon and battery resulting in bodily injury. He is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $5,005 cash or $50,000 surety bond.
Patrick Walls
On Sunday a woman called 911 at 7:11 p.m. reporting Patrick Walls walked into her apartment at Elm Park I and had suffered what appeared to be stab wounds.
Walls told police Beyers had stabbed him, but the Lawrence Superior Court I probable cause affidavit did not state why the two men were in an altercation.
StatFlight airlifted him to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
