(WASHINGTON CO.) - Around 6 a.m. Sunday morning, Washington County Deputy Allen Taylor responded to a one-vehicle accident on State Road 56 East, near Morgan’s Market.
The driver was traveling west, when the driver drove left of center for an unknown reason, collided with a mailbox and a brick pillar, which caused the vehicle to roll over. The driver had to be extricated and was flown to U of L Hospital for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputy Taylor was assisted by members of the Salem Fire Department, Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Washington County Ambulance Service.
