(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Sunday after police say he stabbed another man.
Police arrested 34-year-old John Beyers on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department log a woman called 911 at 7:11 p.m. to report a man, who appeared to have been stabbed, walked into her apartment at Elm Park Apartments.
The injured man was flown by StatFlight medical helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
No other information was available this morning on the incident.
