(DAVIESS CO.) - Washington Township Fire Department firefighters responded early this morning to a turkey barn fire south of Washington.
The barn was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.

Veale and Steen Township firefighters were called to assist along with Daviess County EMA.

The main building was a total loss however firefighters were able to protect two additional nearby barns.
No one was injured while battling the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
