(MONTGOMERY) - Barr-Reeve is moving forward with plans to build a new gym and several new classrooms.
According to Superintendent Travis Madison, the new gym will seat 3,000 people with the possibility for expansion.
Moving the primary grades to the school complex is another priority and new classrooms will also be added. Madison says the plan is to begin construction at the end of the current school year.
