(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured after the vehicle they were in crashed into several U-Haul vehicles at D&D Star Stop Monday night.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 31-year-old Shaun East, of Heltonville, was traveling west on US 50 East when he says another vehicle came into his lane of travel.
East drove his 1996 Ford Windstar off the north side of the highway and struck several parked U-Haul vehicles parked at D&D Star Stop.
Police say East was intoxicated and blood test results are pending.
East suffered a broken or dislocated elbow.
His passenger 17-year-old Clayton McKinney, also of Heltonville, complained of chest pain. McKinney was sitting in the back passenger seat when the accident occurred.
