Last updated on Monday, November 26, 2018

(SALEM) - On Monday, November 12th shortly after midnight, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Naugle was on routine patrol on Elliott Road when he observed a red 2002 Ford Taurus traveling north.

The driver, with a Kentucky registration, was traveling at speeds warranting suspicion so Deputy Naugle did a Kentucky license plate inquiry. The inquiry identified the vehicle as a stolen vehicle from Middlesboro Police Department in Kentucky.
