(DAVIESS CO.) - The Daviess County Commissioners and Washington Mayor Joe Wellman are scheduled to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony December 6th at 11 a.m. for the new Overhead Bridge, or Bridge 284, located on 15th Street over the CSX Railroad tracks.
The bridge was closed for replacement in March of this year.
In addition to the new bridge, new concrete was laid on 15th Street between State Street and Van Trees.
Curbs, sidewalks and storm sewers were also included in the plans.
