(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is once again inviting all Orleans residents and business owners to take part in the 2018 annual Christmas Lighting Contest.
This year's contest is open to all residential properties in and located within a five-mile radius of Orleans.
This year's theme is "Christmas Eve in My Hometown."
Deadline for entries is Saturday, Dec. 8th and the contest will be judged the evening of Monday, Dec. 10th.
Prizes will be awarded for best overall decorating.
Nominations for the 2018 Christmas Lighting Contest may be mailed to the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 9 or dropped off at Orleans Town Hall. Those wishing to fax their entries may do so at (812) 865-3413.
Special entry forms will appear in The Orleans Progress Examiner.
All entries must include the owner's name, address, telephone number, and detailed driving directions.
