National Weather Service Says First Widespread Measurable Snowfall Expected Today

Last updated on Monday, November 12, 2018

(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service says the first widespread measurable snowfall is expected today.

An uplevel weather disturbance is expected to push across North Central Indiana this afternoon from Carroll, Warrant and Tippecanoe Counties as far south as Knox, Daviess, and Martin counties.

Light rain, possibly mixed with snow, is expected to develop later this afternoon, changing to all snow during the evening hours.

Around one inch of accumulation will be possible north of Interstate 70 by the time the snow ends late tonight, while less than an inch will be possible south off Interstate 70.

In the immediate area, we may see more rain than snow.
