(MITCHELL) - INDOT has ruled to change the speeding limit on State Road 37 as it runs through the city of Mitchell from 55 miles per hour to 50 miles per hour.
The speed limit will be altered beginning at Parks Implement Road, south of Mitchell, and run until about a half-mile north of Doc Hamilton Boulevard. In addition, additional warning signs, including advisory distance signage aimed at enhancing awareness of horse-and-buggy traffic, will be placed along this three-mile stretch of highway.
