Last updated on Thursday, November 29, 2018

(MITCHELL) - Come to the Mitchell Community Public Library Dec. 3 when the Lego Club will have its Christmas party. Enjoy cookies, drinks, treat bags and Legos. Build your own Santa, Christmas tree, elf or whatever your imagination can think up.

The party begins at 3:30 p.m.

Holly Jolly Christmas celebration

On Dec. 8 at 2 p.m., the library will present a program of music and dance. Come see local artists and dancers perform from Kat's Performing Arts Studio, Turning Out Dance Studio and the music group Wildflowers and Weeds. Santa will make an appearance at 3:30 p.m. with treats for children and a free photo with him, compliments of the library.

Virtual reality

The Oculus Rift is up and running in the tech room. Stop by and try out a virtual reality simulation, just ask at the front desk. And a big thank you to the Lawrence County Community Foundation and GM Foundation for making it all possible with their generous grant funds.

Winter reading coming soon

Be on the lookout for information on the annual Library Winter Reading Program that will begin soon.
