(BLOOMINGTON) - Firefighters from Bloomington and Northern Monroe Fire Territory were called to a house fire at 1014 West Cottage Grove Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after 4 p.m.
Bloomington Fire Chief Brandon Hudson says firefighters could see heavy smoke at 11th and Walnut Streets.
No one was home when the fire started.
It took firefighters around 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
The cause remains under investigation.
