(ELLETTSVILLE) - The Edgewood Marching Mustangs are the Indiana State School Music Association Class C State Champions.
The achievement was announced on the Edgewood High School Twitter account Saturday afternoon, with a photo of band members holding a trophy at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Owen Valley High School placed 10th in Class C.
The Bloomington High School North Cougar Band marched in Open Class B and placed seventh.
Area high school bands competing in Class D were Springs Valley, second place; Paoli, third; Monrovia, sixth; Orleans, seventh; and Clay City, 10th.
