Christmas Around The Square Is Saturday

(BEDFORD) - Everything is set to go and Bedford Revitalization Inc. is putting the final touches on a cherished holiday tradition - Christmas Around the Square is scheduled for this Saturday.

Downtown businesses will be open for shopping.

Those attending can visit the Open Air Christmas Market and enjoy food from local food trucks and vendors. Christmas music will fill the air putting everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Children can visit with Santa and his elves and see Santa's reindeer and Elsa.

More than 100 entries will take part in the annual Christmas Parade which will step off at 6 p.m. The parade theme this year is Twas the Night before Christmas. Entries can be found here.

The Grand Marshals are Ken and Donna Brumbaugh.

Schedule of Events - Saturday December 1, 2018

Shop Downtown Businesses

• During normal business hours

Live Reindeer Exhibit

• 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Downtown Depot (Corner of 14th & J Street)

Open Air Christmas Market

• 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at J Street section of the Bedford Square (Between 15th & 16th)

Visit with ELSA

• 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Downtown Depot (Corner of 14th & J Street)

FREE Photo with Santa

• 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Downtown Depot (Corner of 14th & J Street)

Photos will be uploaded by December 10th

FREE Barrel Train Rides
for small children only

• 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Downtown Depot (Corner of 14th & J Street)

Grand Marshal and Lighting Ceremony

• 5:30 p.m. At the steps in front of the Miss Indiana Statue and Lighting of Tree in Harp Commons

Bedford Illuminated Christmas Parade

Steps off at 6 p.m.
