Last updated on Monday, November 12, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - A burglary call ended with four people behind bars.

Bloomington Police officers were called to a home on 11th Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday after the homeowner reported two men kicked in his back door, injured him, threatened to kill him with a knife and took his phone.

After talking to the 25-year-old victim, police learned the suspects who he knew had fled the home and went to a home in the 1500 block of 12th Street. Officers went to that home but no one would come out.

Police began the process of securing a search warrant and while waiting on that warrant, two men came out of the home.

Police arrested 24-year-old Cody Ward on charges of burglary, robbery and an outstanding warrant.

The second man who was not involved told police there were three more people inside the home.

After securing the warrant, officers entered the home and located 33-year-old Heather Brown and 25-year-old Ashton Ward hiding in the attic. Both women were wanted on outstanding warrants and were arrested.

Police located 25-year-old Christopher Moen, hiding in a refrigerator. He admitted to robbing the man but denied having a knife or threatening the victim.

He was arrested on charges of robbery and burglary.
