(BEDFORD) - Bedford Revitalization Inc. is putting the final touches on a cherished holiday tradition - Christmas Around the Square - Saturday, December 1.
Downtown businesses will be open for shopping.
Those attending can visit the Open Air Christmas Market and enjoy food from local food trucks and vendors. Christmas music will fill the air putting everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Children can visit with Santa and his elves and see Santa's reindeer and Elsa.
More than 100 entries will take part in the annual Christmas Parade which will step off at 6 p.m. The parade theme this year is Twas the Night before Christmas. Entries can be found here.
The Grand Marshals are Ken and Donna Brumbaugh.
But BRI can't put on these festive events without the help of sponsors.
Sarah Reinhard, BRI Promotion Director says "As a non-profit organization, we rely on community partners to help financially. We try to provide free opportunities to the public as a way to celebrate as a community. Even though many of those activities are free to the public, they are not free for us to put on as an organization. We hope that local businesses will continue to sponsor our Christmas Parade and Christmas Around the Square, as those funds are vital to our operation."
