26th Annual L.I.F.E. Fantasia Is Saturday

(BEDFORD) - The 26th annual L.I.F.E. Fantasia, which benefits Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor, takes place Saturday at the First Baptist Church Life Center, at 1515 20th St.

Those planning to bid on trees, wreaths, and centerpieces at the annual Christmas auction can begin viewing items the more than 100 entries at 9 a.m. The auction will begin at noon.

In addition, there will be a silent auction with four or five donated items, including a blue Indianapolis Colts football with computer generated signatures of the 2016 team. STARZ radio also will broadcast live from 9 a.m. until noon.

The auction is conducted by Robinson Auction Service.

Come to enjoy the music and festivities and then bid on one (or more) of the many trees, wreaths, centerpieces or other Christmas items.

More than 120 items were auctioned off at the 25th annual L.I.F.E. Fantasia and raised more than $36,000. The top seller was a tree decorated by Williams Carpenter Realty decorated in vintage ornaments that sold for $3,000. The tree also earned first place and won People's Choice in the voting. The tree was purchased by Bedford Federal Savings Bank.

All proceeds will help provide food and or emergency funds for those in need this holiday season and into the new year.

Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor (L.I.F.E.). is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was started in 1987. It is a cooperative ministry supported by more than 40 churches throughout Lawrence County. The pantry provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance to those in need in Lawrence County. The pantry distributes more than 12,000 items every month to families in need.
