Work On Liberty Loop Begins Today With Leonard Spring Road To Follow

Last updated on Thursday, October 25, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - I-69 Section 5 paving crews will leave the project limits today to start pavement patching and repair on select local roads adjacent to the project.

Today crews will begin a three-day run on Liberty Loop Road, which will be under soft closure conditions for the safety of both motorists and crews. Residents and those with business in the area will be able to access the roadway but are urged to be aware of crews and flagging operations. Through traffic is asked to avoid Liberty Loop Road if possible to allow crews to finish their work in a safe and timely manner.

Upon completion of patching on Liberty Loop Road, crews will move to Leonard Springs Road between Fullerton Pike and Tapp Road. There will also be pavement work done on west Tapp Road and west Fullerton Pike. Flagging operations will be in place for the patching work.

The timing of the local street repairs is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
