Trick Or Treat Hours And Fall Events

(UNDATED) - The following is a list of trick or treat hours and fall events.


  • Sinister Hallows at Salt Creek Flea Market on Oolitic Road is open every Saturday in October until Nov. 3. Along the trail, visitors will meet Granny and her twisted family who haunt the creek. After being spooked along the creek banks guests can venture their way to the corn maze and see if they can find their way out encountering other frights along the way - word is Big Foot has been spotted in the area. The cost is $10. Those wanting to try their luck shooting Zombies with a nerf gun can give it a try for $5. There is a less scary zombie shoot for younger children. One adult is allowed per child for the $5 fee.

  • The City of Bedford will hold its Halloween Trick or Treat on Wednesday, October 31st from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. for one night only.

  • The City of Mitchell trick or treat will be on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 pm.

  • Join us for a SPOOKTACULAR evening on Halloween Night! It's a FREE Community Halloween Party complete with Food and refreshments and treats. There will be a costume parade, indoor trick or treating, fun Halloween party tunes, and more. Super Treat Night is presented to you by WTIU. It's completely free and always a good time. Come out and see how the staff transforms the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County into a frightful adventure for all those who attend. The event is Wednesday, October 31, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

    • Trick or Treat at Mitchell Library will be Oct. 31, at the Main Street door from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. There will be treats, books, and fun.
    • October 27 Riverside Fall Sale and Trunk or Treat for the kids beginning at 5 p.m. the sale will be from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Mamas Ice Cream will be there around 5 p.m.
    • Safe Night Trick or Treat sponsored by the Lawrence County Fairboard will be held at the fairgrounds on October 30th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. for children ages 12 and under. During the event, Lawrence County Young Farmers will host a Share the Harvest event. They are asking those attending to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to help feed the hungry in the county.
    • The public is invited tot eh Fall Frolic with the Lawrence County CASA on Oct. 27th from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Harp Commons and the west side of the square. There will be live entertainment, scarecrow stuffing so bring your own clothes to make your scarecrow. There will be pumpkin painting, face painting, games, a bounce house, and much more! the vent is Free and open to the public!


    The City of Nashville will hold their trick or treat hours from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31st.


    • Trick or Treating in the City of Washington has been set for Wednesday evening, October 31st from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
      • The City of Washington Fire and Police Departments will once again host Halloween Safe Stops this year. The Safe Stops will be held Wednesday, October 31st from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Firehouse #2 at 1000 West Walnut Street and the Police Station garage area at City Hall. Trick or treaters are welcome to stop to get a treat from firefighters and police officers
      • West Boggs Park will provide a safe and fun place to bring kids trick or treating on Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, October 27 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.


      • The 49th Annual Apple Festival in Bloomfield is Oct. 5-6. The festival will feature carnival rides, food, merchandise, vendors, live music, baking contest, baby contest, pedal tractor contest, a quilt auction, art exhibit, 5K run, Wiffle ball tournament, live demonstrations and more. The festival is held in Bloomfield Town Park. The parade will step-off on Sunday at 2 p.m.
      • Cincinnati Christian Church Trunk or Treat will be held Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Eastern Greene Elementary School in the back parking lot. There will be plenty of candy, free hot dogs, chips and warm drinks
      • Bloomfield Trick or Treat hours will be Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.


      • Seymour Main Street Ghouls and Goblets, Friday, October 12, from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.. Go to for more info and tickets.
      • Scarecrow Stroll, October 12-31. Merchants decorate scarecrows and display them outside of their store. The public can vote for their favorite.
      • Residential Trick or Treat is Wednesday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. Downtown Trick or Treat, will be Monday, October 29, 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
      • Trunk & Treat Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Brownstown Christian Church
      • Lions Club Annual Halloween Parade, Monday, October 29 at 6 p.m. Parade starts at Post Office and goes through downtown.
      • Free Flick Friday, is Oct. 19th 7:30 p.m. at Crossroads Community Park. They will be showing Monster Inc.
      • Celebrating the changing of the seasons with vintage campers, local crafts, local fall produce and decorative squash at Stuckwish Farm Market in Vallonia. Hunters Ridge Winery and Salt Creek Brewery will be set up on location serving wonderful local drinks. Pizza Palace pizza boats will also be available. Come out and enjoy shopping for the holiday season and enjoy being at the farm. Help us decide which vintage campers have the best holiday decorations this season. The event will be held October 26th from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and October 27th from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Stuckwish Farm Market located at 4683 South State Road 135, in Vallonia.


      • Little ghosts and goblins in both Bloomington and Ellettsville are invited to trick-or-treat from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, rain or shine. Sandy Hash, Ellettsville clerk-treasurer, said residents are encouraged to turn their porch lights on if they want to receive trick-or-treaters.


      • Orleans Trick or Treating is Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
      • Paoli Trick or Treating is Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
      • Orleans Annual Fall Fun Fest in the Park is Saturday, Oct. 13. downtown in historic Congress Square. The Chamber will again be hosting a number of fun fall family type activities and special events on that Saturday. Planned events include - a 5K Run/Walk, Homegrown Fall Market with a variety of craft vendors, mums, pumpkins, gourds and fall d├ęcor, children's activities, Great Chamber Chili Cook-Off, Car Show, Golf Cart Parade, Corn Hole Tourney, an Apple Pie Baking Contest, Live Entertainment on Bicentennial Stage, food and lots more.
