Last updated on Thursday, October 25, 2018

(NASHVILLE) - For nearly a century, Hoosiers and tourists alike have enjoyed fried biscuits and apple butter, or persimmon pudding, at The Nashville House in Nashville, Indiana.

But, after 91 years, that tradition is coming to an end.

Nashville House owner Gina Rogers announced this week the restaurant will close its doors for good on Sunday, October 28th.

She thanked everyone for their best wishes and support and, as a farewell gift, shared the recipe for Nashville House Fried Biscuits.

The recipe can be found here.
